Avochie Estate
Avochie is a working estate comprising over fifteen hundred acres of farmland, woodland and pasture. The woodland includes mature scots pine, spruce plantations and native broadleaf, as well as wide areas of natural regeneration. Avochie has a fantastic mixture of wildlife habitats, and walking along the river or through the fields and woods, one can often encounter roe deer, game birds, waders, squirrels and pine marten, and see osprey, peregrine and other birds of prey overhead.
